This was done during the last semester in my college. i was attempting a style that mixes realism and pop art together with some striking colours. well in the end it is still more like realistic instead of the pop art effect that i wanted.. well.. still i like the warm colour mood.

colour pencils on orange coloured card. took me around 4 hours.

there are too many people better than me out there. even just in the college that i graduated from. i dont think im a master yet. i hope someday i will be though. so i will work hard towards it

Just wonder why you left the strokes visible instead of blend some part smoothly. I think that make the drawing looks sketchy.

Nice color, anyway.

Monroe is no more a sexy symbol for our generation, haha!

For us... Paris Hilton, maybe?

I tried to draw on color paper once. I found that it's really a time-saver. I miss the "feeling" drawing on color paper. >.< I shall do it again one day.

Paris Hilton? eeww! she's a slut. i dont like.. haha. i will prefer Elizabeth Hurley. if she is too old, then maybe Catherine Zeta Jones.. still quite old.. dam. nevermind.

will i purposely left all the strokes and i dont really like to paint or draw so smoothly like photograph unless there is a certain purpose. i like my drawings remain looking like drawing and i dont mind the sketchy look
