when u compete against the pple around u, u mite jz notice that ur biggest competitor or enemy is always urself. if u wanna improve, the 1st one u hav to beat is urself. that happens for my case. thats y i painted this caricature of myself.
it shows another 'me' growing out from my body n fighting against myself. the background shows veins n inner parts of the body which portrays i m fighting against myself from the inside of me, in my mind.
so b4 u compete against anyone, compete with urself 1st. then u wil bcome a winner. n u'll improve faster. instead of thinking about how to overtake someone else. it is u u hav to overtake.

did this in 2 weeks, around 25 to 30 hrs. other than the faces all the other elements in the painting including the background was fully imagined n sketched in the software, using Corel Painter 9. painted with loaded pallette knife. i took a lot of pictures of my face for refs n acted out the expressions b4 i started painting. anything u dun understand about this painting u can ask me more. thanks. hope u like it

nice !!! great concept.. da colouring is great n awesome 2..
i cant say much.. cos i feel its 2 perfect..

i would love 2 learn how 2 draw caricature..

em... firstly thank u so much for ur compliments^^ well caricature is not an easy thing to learn.. bcoz u hav to b very strong in foundation for human figures first. if u cant do realistic figures, its very unlikely ur caricature will b gd. so the 1st thing u need to do is practice alot of proportionate human figure n be familiar with muscles n features first, then only learn to distort the figure but remaining their ourstanding features n characters. caricature is about exagerating, so lets say if a person's face is long, u make it extra long. or its their teeth r big, u make them extra big. jz practise more, nobody can get it rite the first time^^
