almost died when i did this one.. i spent 3 days in a row to do this.. 3 days b4 the deadline.. of this assignment.. the theme was chinese new year.. so i chose to paint a lion dance, an outstanding cultural activity of the chinese.. 2 days from morning til nite, then half a day on the third day.. i think i spent almost 30 hrs on this..
the sky on the actual reference was actually blue.. but i made it into evening colors n i think thats nicer.. i think this is one of my best digital art pieces so far.. wat do u think? done in Corel Painter 9, loaded palette knife and artist oil |
