this is my final project for my light and mood class in college in third year. the task was to paint or draw a city or scenery with outstanding light and mood and gd composition. and here is the gotham city from my imagination.
i used some references for some of the buidings but not all.. i amagined the train and all.. n i imagined batman who is standing in the middle looking down to the whole gotham city in the evening sky.. the buildings are abit inspired by catholic church designs with sharp pointy roofs..
this was painted with designer's goauche on A3 sized illustration board. took me some time to do research and the painting time was quite fast.. around 4 to 6 hours maybe? its something like a concept art like those visuals that artists do before they shoot a scene in a movie and they will present it to the director.. so hopefully i mite get to do something like that next time.
